Playa Grande

 

Robert August calls Playa Grande his home break. This is a very good beach break just north of Tamarindo. It can get pretty big and it is usually very consistent.

 

Pico Pequeño 

 

This is a a lava finger reef south of Tamarindo. It is best on a mid tide and gets shallow at low tide.

 

Playa Langosta 

 

Playa Langosta is a bigger outside breaking wave that is a little more challenging than Tamarindo. Occasionally a crocodile will come out in the lineup for a surf.
